Cockroaches multiply quickly in kitchens, bathrooms and storage areas, especially in apartment buildings and restaurants. A do-it-yourself treatment is rarely enough: the eggs resist most over-the-counter products.

How to prepare before the visit
- Completely empty the kitchen cabinets — dishes, food and products — and the bathroom cabinets if the bathroom is being treated: the technician must reach the back and the corners.
- Clean the surfaces: remove grease and crumbs, especially around the stove, the refrigerator and under the sink.
- Clear out under the sink and anything stored around the pipes.
- If possible, pull small appliances away from the walls, or clear around them.
- Remove pets, their food and their bowls from the areas being treated.
- Plan to leave the home for 4 hours after the treatment.
